Glenfiddich Vintage Cask + Rolling Stone Refrigerating Stones
700ml BOTTLE
Glenfiddich Vintage Cask is a major edition of Glenfiddich, one of the distilleries of whisky most famous Scotsman in the world: this whisky in fact it comes from a series of casks personally selected by Brian Kinsman, the master distiller of Glenfiddich. The goal stated already in the name of this whisky it is paying homage to the products of many decades ago and this can be done with two ingredients, namely peat and aging in ex-sherry casks. The whisky Scottish born as whisky peated due to the difficulty in finding coal: Scotland had a railway network rather late and the smoking of barley often took place with what Mother Nature offered, most often peat, with a typical smoked result.
Furthermore, the refinement of the first part of the twentieth century took place in large oak barrels that had previously contained Sherry, the famous Spanish wine of which the Anglo-Saxon people have always been greedy: a good way to save on wood and have a whisky valuable is therefore to reuse these barrels to give life to a unique product, just like this Glenfiddich Vintage Cask.
In combination with a set of 9 Luserna stone cubes produced in Italy by Italpietre, ideal for refreshing your whisky.
