Kilchoman Machir Bay is by far the most characteristic product of the Kilchoman distillery, the malt that acts as the flag for the entire production. Kilchoman is a small craft distillery which in a few years has managed to consolidate its absolute fame and not be frightened by the other historical giants of the island of whisky peaty, thanks to products that are always focused and have great adherence to the territory and the area. The artisan hand outlines whisky rough and intense, with a peculiar and uncompromising character, being able to work personally on every aspect of the production and being able to manage the releases, which in any case are limited and not always available. In this case Kilchoman Machir Bay is a mix of whisky aged mostly in ex bourbon American oak barrels and a 10% of whisky aged in ex sherry European oak barrels to broaden its complexity. A unique malt that must be known and loved unreservedly.
