Lagavulin 10 Years Old is a recent release from Lagavulin, one of Scotland's best known and above all most respected distilleries, thanks to a whisky always uncompromising that immediately makes you think of the southern coast of the island of Islay, wherever in the world you are tasting this whisky. Lagavulin 10 Years Old is nothing more than a unique selection of its kind, aged for at least ten years in first and second fill ex bourbon oak barrels, combining the maturity of the years in wood with a discreet youthful vivacity. The oak barrels are declared "charred and rejuvenated" or more active than the traditional treatment and this should give more intense and mature tones to the whisky final, proposed at a comfortable gradation and able to charm every palate.
