Whisky Smokehead Rum Rebel
700ml BOTTLE
Smokehead Rum Rebel is not the usual whisky of Islay, with its peat kit, but an unprecedented declination of this type of whisky thanks to the contribution of the refinement: in this case some barrels were chosen that previously contained rum from a Caribbean distillery to further mark the spirit and make this bottle unique.
The history of Smokehead is linked to the Ian MacLeod brand, one of the main brands associated with the selection and marketing of bottles of whisky independent, sometimes without the name of the distillery of origin, as is allowed to do according to the disciplinary of whisky Scottish. Ian MacLeod has seen fit to expand its range with the Smokehead line, or with whisky coming from unknown distilleries on the island of Islay with a decidedly marked peat component and, as in this case, to submit the whisky to an unusual refinement to best enhance its uniqueness and quality. A bottle intended for daring and curious palates.
TASTE: Dense and oily, always smoked and peaty, caramel and candied fruit, brown sugar and spices.
AGING: Oak barrels ex Caribbean Rum.
