Founded in 1967 to meet the high demand for whisky Scotch from the United States, over the years the production of Glenallachie has remained anchored to blenders, with few opportunities to taste this malt in single malt format. Since 2017, things have changed thanks to the presence at the helm of Billy Walker, one of the gurus of the gods whisky Scottish who - in his long and glorious career - has had the opportunity to revive the fortunes of various distilleries. Today The Glenallachie has completely renovated the packaging sector and has focused on the production and marketing of single malts with the company name clearly visible on the label, giving Billy Walker carte blanche on the labels to be put on the market.
