Grappa The Premiere Jacopo Poli

A grappa that wants to tell a dream born in not far 1995 when Jacopo Poli visits the prestigious Château Premiere Cru of Pauillac - Medoc, France for the first time. After many years of requests to obtain the pomace of this famous French maison, he finally managed to prepare the much courted pomace for transport from France to Italy.

To be exact, we are talking about pomace of Merlot, Cabernet and Petit Verdot. The two lots of pomace were transported in maximum safety, in insulated trucks to guarantee maximum quality and freshness. Thanks then to the historic alembic of the distillery, the pomace has thus produced the best pomace brandy from French grapes distilled in Italy.

The refinement takes place after the distillate has rested for six months in steel tanks, in 11 different barriques also coming from the Château. After this long period of 8 years, each single barrique has given different aromatic nuances. The first batch of Grappa La Premiere Jacopo Poli was bottled in 2016, since then the production of this fantastic, prestigious grappa has never stopped. 

The bottles produced are numbered.

TASTE: decidedly aromatic, overall soft with hints of ripe fruit, marzipan and candied fruit.

AGING: in barriques produced by the Château tonnerie.
